Families can complete arrangements from home, or arrange in person at our licensed Apple Valley location for an additional $800. Either way, the result is a straightforward, dignified service at a fraction of the traditional cost — without sacrificing care or quality.
The national median cost of a traditional funeral with burial is over $9,000. Direct cremation with Everfare Direct is $1,595 during our introductory launch (regularly $1,795), all-inclusive.

Yes. The $1,595 introductory price covers transportation within the Minneapolis / St. Paul Metro area, death certificate filing, individual cremation at a licensed facility, and mailing of cremated remains to your home. There are no hidden fees, no upsells, and no add-on packages. Our standard price is $1,795 — families who arrange or pre-plan during the introductory period pay $1,595.
What if my loved one passed away outside the Minneapolis / St. Paul Metro area?
Everfare currently serves the Minneapolis / St. Paul Metro area (approximately a 40-mile radius). If the passing occurred outside this area, additional transportation fees may apply. Contact us and we will give you an exact quote before you commit to anything.
How do I pay?
We accept all major credit and debit cards as well as ACH bank transfers. Payment is processed securely online as part of the arrangement process.
Can I use life insurance to pay?
In many cases, yes. We can work with life insurance assignment for eligible policies. Contact our care team to discuss your specific situation.
What is the pre-planning price lock?
When you pre-plan with Everfare, you lock in our introductory $1,595 price permanently. When the standard price returns to $1,795 (or increases further in the future), you still pay what you locked in at the time of pre-planning.
How much do I pay today when pre-planning?
You have two options. You can pre-fund your arrangement in full today ($1,595), which locks in the price and protects your funds through a preneed insurance policy with United Heritage Life Insurance Company. Or you can complete a pre-arrangement agreement at no cost today, documenting your wishes without any payment — your family would pay at the time of need. Most families choose full pre-funding for the price lock and peace of mind, but both options are available.
Are pre-funded funds safe if something happens to Everfare?
Yes. Pre-funded arrangements are backed by a preneed insurance policy issued by United Heritage Life Insurance Company, a licensed and regulated carrier. Your funds are held independently of Everfare's operating accounts and are fully refundable if you change your mind.
Do you sell urns or other products?
No. Everfare is a focused arrangement service. We do not sell urns, jewelry, keepsakes, or any other products. Cremated remains are returned in a dignified temporary container. Families who wish to purchase an urn may do so independently.
Is $1,595 the regular price or a promotional price?
$1,595 is our introductory launch price. Our standard price is $1,795. Families who arrange during the introductory period pay $1,595. Families who pre-plan during the introductory period lock in $1,595 permanently.
What is the $800 in-person arrangement fee for?
If you'd prefer to sit down with a licensed funeral director in person, you can complete your arrangements at our Apple Valley location (14850 Garrett Avenue) for an additional $800. The direct cremation service itself is identical — the fee covers the added time and personal support of an in-person appointment.
Do you offer anything besides direct cremation?
